On Monday, July 24th, 2023, at 9:00 am, Turlock Police investigators arrived at a residence in the 1200 block of Lander Ave, Turlock, to serve a search warrant in a narcotics sales investigation.
During the service of the warrant, investigators located and seized 1,609 marijuana plants weighing in at 620 lbs, as well as some bottles of carbofuran from four different rooms.
Investigators also arrested two men, Ramon Valencia, 30, of Stockton, and Jose Torres, 26, of Modesto.
Valencia and Torres were both booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a pesticide that is not registered and cultivating more than six living cannabis plants.
