On Sunday, July 16th, 2023, at 10:24 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Golf Rd and S Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a man driving a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants as driver Raymond Beas, 47, of Modesto, and passenger Patricia Nieves, 40, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that they both had local felony bench warrants. Beas’s warrant was a $50,500 one for possession of methamphetamines for sale, while Nieves’s warrant was a $35,500 one for possession of metal knuckles.

Both subjects were arrested and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamines in Beas’s possession.

Beas and Nieves were both booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on their warrants. Beas was also booked on the charge of possession of methamphetamines.
