At about 10:40pm Sunday, Turlock Police Officer Marquez got out with two suspicious persons at Quaile Rand Norton Park in the 500 block of S. Berkeley Avenue.
Marquez made contact with and identified the two as Jeremy Rhea, 52, of Turlock, and Shawnaice Azevedo, 38, of Turlock.
When Marquez had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered Rhea was on searchable probation out of Merced County for child abduction and had a $1,020 local misdemeanor bench warrant for driving with a suspended license due to a DUI conviction, while Azevedo had a $2,000 local misdemeanor warrant of arrest for theft.
Rhea and Azevedo were both arrested on their warrants, Rhea was released on a citation and Azevedo was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
