Two arrested on warrants after disturbance at memorial park Saturday afternoon

On Saturday, March 11th, 2023, at 2:07 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance at Turlock Memorial Park, 425 N Soderquist Rd, Turlock, involving seven subjects.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with and identified the seven subjects.

When officers had their dispatcher run the seven, they discovered that two of them, Kiera Scheele, 22, of Modesto, and Steve Gonzales, 31, of Modesto, had warrants. Scheele had a misdemeanor bench warrant out of Modesto for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, and possession of a controlled substance, while Gonzales had a no-bail felony bench warrant out of Modesto for burglary and a $15,550 misdemeanor bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Both Scheele and Gonzales were arrested on their warrants. Scheele was released on a citation, while Gonzales was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
