Two Men Allegedly Rob, Cut Store Owner

Turlock police are looking for two suspects who robbed a business owner as he was closing up shop just after midnight on Monday.

Around 12:38 a.m., the Turlock Police Department received a report of a robbery at the Stop N Shop Liquor Beer Wine on the 2700 block of Geer Road.

Two male subjects in dark hoodies with their faces covered allegedly approached the business owner as he was closing the store, said Turlock police spokesperson Lt. James Silveira.

The store owner was confronted by the two male suspects, one of which was allegedly armed with a “cutting instrument,” said Silveira.

According to Silveira, the suspects allegedly made away with some of the owners personal belongings.

The victim suffered minor lacerations on his arm, said Silveira.

The suspects were last seen fleeing on foot toward Geer Road. They were only described as two adult males wearing dark hoodies and had their faces covered.

Anyone with information on the robbery can contact the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-5550.
