At about 2:30pm Friday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Primo Market in the 800 block of S. First Street.

When deputies arrived on scene, they learned that two unknown Hispanic men had entered the store, one of which produced a handgun and demanded alcohol, cash, and cigarettes.

The men were then given money and tobacco products, before they fled westbound on H Street from the business.

Both men were described to be in their late teens or early twenties. One was taller and was wearing a gray hoodie and gray pants, while the other was shorter with long hair and was wearing a dark gray hoodie and black shorts.

The investigation remains ongoing.
