Two on the loose after stabbing man Thursday evening

On Thursday, September 9th, 2021, at 7:04 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred at the intersection of Wayside Dr and Kenwood Ave, Turlock. Dispatch had received multiple calls reporting that someone had just been stabbed by two subjects who took off in a gray sedan traveling eastbound on Wayside Dr.

When crews arrived on scene, they located a 30-year old male victim with multiple stab wounds to his back. Crews provided medical aid to him on scene and then he was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Officers began investigating and learned that the victim had gotten into a verbal altercation with two juvenile males, one Hispanic and the other white. The verbal altercation then escalated and turned into a physical altercation after the two subjects got into their vehicle and tried to drive away. During this time, one of the two subjects inside the vehicle stabbed the victim through their vehicle’s window before fleeing.

The Hispanic male had dark hair and was wearing a red shirt, black pants, and dark colored shoes. The white male had dark hair and was wearing a black Kappa hoodie, gray camouflage pants, and red shoes.
