On Monday, July 26th, 2021, at 1:51 am, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported shooting that had just occurred at The Grand Cru, 130 W Main St, Turlock.
Multiple officers responded and arrived on scene within minutes. As an officer was approaching the rear parking lot of the business, they were flagged down by someone who was with one of the victims. The victim had at least one gunshot wound and was seated in a vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot. The officer was able to provide medical aid to the victim until firefighters and paramedics could arrive on scene. Once they arrived, the victim was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
A second gunshot victim later arrived at the hospital on their own.
Both victims suffered non-life threatening gunshot injuries.
