Two Suspects Arrested at Wells Fargo for Credit Card Fraud

Two females were arrested at a Turlock bank Monday after police found several fraudulent credit cards in their vehicle.

Police responded to the Wells Fargo at 440 E. Olive Ave. on the report of fraud at approximately 4:09 p.m.

Porcha Bush, 26, entered the Wells Fargo with an out-of-state ID and credit card, attempting to get a cash advance, said Turlock police spokesperson Lt. Ron Reid.

When the bank teller attempted to run the card, the teller was notified of a fraud alert on the account, said Reid. The teller then notified the Turlock Police Department.

Turlock police arrived on scene and found another female subject, Ashley Fambrough, 18, in the rental car that she and Bush had driven to get to the bank.

Officers found dozens of credit cards in Bush’s and Fambrough’s names, as well as in the names of other people.

Bush and Fambrough were arrested for credit card fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud, said Reid.

Since Bush entered the bank and attempted to get the cash advance with the fraudulent credit card, she was additionally charged with burglary, according to Reid.
