On Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at 3:53 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Walgreens, 1591 Geer Rd, Turlock.
Officers arrived on scene and began investigating, determining that two men had entered the business wearing ski masks, gloves, and all-black clothing. One of the men began taking a cash register and was confronted by an employee when the second man brandished a knife at them. The two were eventually able to make off with the cash register and were last seen running westbound on W Hawkeye Ave.
Officers checked the area for the men, however, were unable to locate them.
A similar incident had occurred at the business at the exact same time a few months prior on Monday, October 3rd, except only one man was involved and no weapons were used. It’s unclear at this point if the two are related.
