Two with warrants arrested after falsely identifying selves Wednesday morning

On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, at 8:57 am, a Turlock Police sergeant near Broadway Park, 501 N Broadway, Turlock, made contact with a man at the park who he recognized and believed had a warrant.

The sergeant had his dispatcher run the man, Adrian Hernandez, 31, of Turlock, and he returned with two felony warrants out of Stanislaus County, one for auto theft and the other for violation of post release community supervision.

When asked to identify himself, Adrian gave a fake name, however, the sergeant obviously already knew who he was.

With Adrian was Bernadine Hernandez, 42, of Turlock. When asked to identify herself, Bernadine also gave a fake name, however, a lieutenant was able to help out and identify her. When she was ran, she returned with a misdemeanor warrant for battery.

Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of providing false identification to a peace officer and their warrants.
