Shortly after 8:30am Monday morning, Turlock Police responded to a vandalism in the 4000 block of W. Main Street.

An unknown suspect reportedly cut down three power poles with a hand saw and damaged several feet of fiber-optic cables.

Officers provided traffic control while appropriate utilities made the area safe and conducted repairs.

Some evidence was collected at the scene.
