UPDATE: Man wanted on flight and weapon charges from July 22nd pursuit arrested early Wednesday morning

On Wednesday, August 31st, 2022, at 3:03 am, a Turlock Police officer northbound State Route 99 near W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock, observed a vehicle whose driver he recognized and believed to be wanted from the pursuit on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 that had started near the intersection of S Orange St and South Ave, so he made a traffic stop on it.

Additional officers arrived and they performed a high risk stop, removing and detaining both of the vehicle’s occupants at gunpoint.

After brief investigation, the driver, Kyle Teehee, 36, of Turlock, was determined to indeed be wanted as the driver from the pursuit.

Teehee’s passenger provided a statement of her involvement in the pursuit and was ultimately released.

Teehee was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, carrying a concealed firearm, flight from a peace officer with disregard to public safety, possession of a short-barreled rifle or shotgun, possession of a firearm by a felon or person addicted to a narcotic, and carrying a loaded firearm.
