On Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, at 5:00 pm, the Turlock Police Department came out with an update regarding the officer involved shooting that occurred on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at the intersection of High St and Lane St, Turlock.
The Turlock Police Department announced that they arrested an additional subject, Alexander Arroyo, 21, of Turlock, after he voluntarily came into the Turlock Police Department for questioning.
It is currently unclear if Arroyo was the second subject that officers had originally detained at the scene but then later released. It is also currently unclear what Arroyo’s exact involvement in the incident was.
Arroyo was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of attempted murder.
