UPDATE: Turlock Black Lives Matter Co-Founder takes plea deal in May 2021 battery on a peace officer case

On Friday, February 25th, 2022, at 8:30 am, Turlock Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Jaimee Ellison, 25, of Turlock, took a plea deal in her battery on a peace officer and attempted rescue of a prisoner case that occurred on Sunday, May 30th, 2021, at The Grand Cru, 130 W Main St, Turlock.

Ellison’s plea deal included a lesser misdemeanor charge of resisting a peace officer rather than her original felony charges of battery on a peace officer and attempted rescue of a prisoner.

The Honorable Judge Carrie Stephens sentenced Ellison to serve one day in county jail with credit for time served. She was also placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay restitution.
