On Wednesday, October 13th, 2021, at 9:50 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of N Washington Rd and W Main St, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a white Toyota pickup truck and the other was a white Lexus sedan.

It is currently unknown how many occupants each vehicle had, however, one of the occupants of the white Lexus sedan suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.

Both vehicles sustained major damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.

Witnesses reported that one of the vehicles was traveling at high rates of speed and had run a red light, however, it is currently unknown which vehicle that was.
