Victim Assaulted by Robbers, Car Stolen While Seeking Care at Hospital

A man was robbed by two unknown suspects at gunpoint outside of a Turlock hotel early Wednesday morning.

Turlock police responded to Comfort Suites in the 100 block of North Tully Road on a report that a victim was just robbed at gunpoint by two suspects.

The victim told police he was approached by two black males with handguns attempting to rob him.

During the robbery, the victim was allegedly hit by one of the suspects. He did not remember much of the incident after the hit, said Turlock Police Department spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. While in the hospital, the suspects stole the victim’s car using the keys that were taken in the robbery, said Lewis.

The suspects were last seen fleeing north on Tully Road in a silver sedan.
