A victim was robbed by two suspects, one armed with a knife, after refusing to let the suspects use his cell phone on Nov. 20.

Two male subjects approached the victim near the employee entrance of Los Gallos, located at 811 W. Hawkeye Ave., at approximately 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

One of the subjects asked to use the victim’s cell phone, but the victim refused, said Lewis.

At this time, one subject allegedly pulled out a knife and the other allegedly struck the victim in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground, said Lewis.

The two suspects then fled on foot with the victim’s property. The two were last seen traveling east on Hawkeye Avenue toward Donnelly Park.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male with dark skin. He was wearing a white sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect is described as a white male who was seen wearing a black jacket and jeans.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-5550.
