Virgil JB Pixley
October 17, 1943 – May 6, 2022
Virgil Pixley of Modesto has passed away in his home at the age of 78. He was born to Virgil Sr. and Lillian Pixley in Imperial Valley, California. The family moved to Stanislaus County in 1947 where he resided most of his life. He served as a member of the Navy. He was a businessman, electrician, and man of many trades.
Virgil is survived by his first wife Shirley June Atchison; five daughters, Kimberly Peart, Teresa Montiel, Leah LaValley, Tenea Fleming, and Ranae Allen; one son Thomas Hughes; four sisters, Georgia Kennedy, Celeste, Christine, and Peggy Brown; one brother Virgil Arthur Pixley; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
You are gone from this earth, but forever loved in our hearts!
