On Wednesday, January 27th, 2021, at approximately 9:15 pm, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a robbery that had just occurred at the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 1591 Geer Rd. The caller reported that three black male teenagers or adults in their early twenties jumped the pharmacy counter, stole medication, and ran to a getaway vehicle waiting on Twentieth Century Blvd.
Officers saturated the area within minutes but were unable to locate the suspects or the suspect vehicle. The Merced Police Department had a similar robbery occur within their city about an hour prior to this one. It is likely related.
