Wanted parolee out of Arkansas arrested during bicycle stop early Sunday morning

On Sunday, February 6th, 2022, at 3:33 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of N Golden State Blvd and Twentieth Century Blvd, Turlock, noticed a bicyclist violating the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with the bicyclist and identified him as Larry Moore, 47, of Turlock.

When the officer ran a wants and warrants check on Moore, he discovered that he had two warrants. One was a misdemeanor warrant out of San Joaquin County for a drug charge and the other was a felony warrant out of Arkansas for violation of parole with full extradition.

A search of Moore also revealed that he was in possession of a controlled substance.

Moore was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants and charges of possession of a controlled substance. He is currently being held on no bond awaiting extradition back to Arkansas after the local charges are dealt with.
