The Turlock Police Department is investigating two different shootings over the weekend that left multiple victims wounded.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of N. Denair Avenue at approximately 10:15 p.m. Saturday on the report of shots fired, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

When officers arrived on scene, they found evidence of a shooting and learned that there may have been injuries, but couldn’t not locate any victims, said Webb.

Approximately 15 minutes later, around 10:30 p.m., Turlock police received report of a victim at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was uncooperative with authorities, as were people located at the scene of the shooting, said Webb.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries as result of the shooting, said Webb.

On Sunday morning, at approximately 5:18 a.m., Turlock police received another report of a victim of a gunshot wound at the hospital, said Webb.

The victim told police that he had been shot in the 1100 block of Lander Avenue.

At this time there are no suspects and the investigation is ongoing for both shootings, said Webb.
