At about 10:23pm Friday night, Officer Villapudua observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code near S. Golden State Boulevard and East Avenue, so he made a traffic stop on him.
Villapudua made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger Lace Chapman, 30, of Modesto.
When Villapudua had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Chapman had a $30,000 misdemeanor bench warrant out of San Mateo for grand theft and burglary.
Chapman was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrant.
