On Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at 11:49 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Safeway, 3051 Countryside Dr, Turlock, observed a woman driving a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on her.
The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Destany Binda, 28, of Modesto.
When the officer had his dispatcher run Binda, he discovered that she had a $2,000 local misdemeanor warrant of arrest for theft.
Binda was arrested and released on a citation on her warrant.
It should be noted that Binda is the woman featured in videos on online feeds such as the Ring Neighbors app driving around in the infamous maroon van stealing things. The incidents started a few months ago and this is how long prosecutors take to file misdemeanor cases against those not already in custody.
