Woman reporting false vehicle theft arrested on four warrants Tuesday night

On Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, at 9:53 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle theft in progress at Motel 6, 250 S Walnut Rd, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with and identified all of the involved parties, including the caller, Tiffany Antunez, 32, of Hilmar.

Officers determined that no crimes had been committed, however, when they had their dispatcher run the three, they discovered that Antunez had four bench warrants. The first one was a $15,500 local felony one for grand theft, the second one was a $5,500 local misdemeanor one for theft, the third one was a $2,000 misdemeanor one out of Ceres for shoplifting, while the fourth one was a $5,5000 misdemeanor one out of Ceres for theft and trespassing.

Antunez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrants.
