On Friday, July 15th, 2022, at 2:04 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred at a residence in the 1500 block of Joett Dr, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a woman in her open garage with several stabwounds. She was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with moderate non-life threatening injuries.

Officers learned that the suspect was a thin white male adult and began searching the area, however, were unable to locate him.

Officers began investigating and learned that as the victim was standing in her open garage cleaning, the suspect approached her and stabbed her several times with a knife before fleeing the scene.

The suspect has yet to be identified, however, detectives don’t believe that this was a random act of violence.

The investigation remains on-going.
