On Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, at 12:06 pm, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire at Sinclair Gas & Dino Mart, 1405 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a political sign fire that they quickly put out.

Firefighters were told by a witness that a woman had set the fire and fled the area towards N Front St. She was described to be white and in her 30s with short blonde hair, wearing all black.

The Turlock Police Department responded and checked the area for the woman, however, were unable to locate her.

Another political sign had been set on fire a few days prior in the same area. It’s unclear at this point whether or not the two are related.
