On Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, at 10:27 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of West Ave N and Flower St, Turlock, observed and made contact with a suspicious person.

The officer asked the woman, later identified as Ashanda Lee, 43, of Ceres, to identify herself, however, she did not want to be truthful and gave a fake name.

With the assistance of a sergeant, Lee’s true identity was uncovered about half an hour later.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Lee, she returned with six warrants. The first one was a $70,000 felony warrant of arrest for obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person for an unlawful purpose and falsely identifying to a peace officer, the second one was a $10,500 felony bench warrant for grand theft and forgery, the third one was a $100,500 felony bench warrant for false personation, the fourth one was a $35,000 felony bench warrant for conspiracy and forgery, the fifth one was a $10,000 misdemeanor bench warrant for shoplifting and falsely identifying to a peace officer, and the sixth one was a no bail felony bench warrant for violation of post release community supervision.

Lee was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrants.
