On Monday, November 7th, 2022, at 12:08 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported larceny in progress at The Home Depot, 2800 Countryside Dr, Turlock.

Officers arrived on scene and located the woman responsible for the larceny walking through the parking lot. She was contacted and identified as Tiffany Antunez, 32, of Hilmar.

Other officers spoke with loss prevention who reported that when Antunez was in the store, she selected high value items and placed them into a shopping cart. She then went to the returns desk and attempted to return the unpurchased merchandise. When that failed, she walked out of the doors with the merchandise, however, was stopped by loss prevention that recovered their merchandise.

When officers had their dispatcher run Antunez, she returned with two $2,000 misdemeanor bench warrants. The first one was a local one for theft, while the second one was out of Ceres for theft and trespassing.

Antunez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of grand theft as well as her warrants.
