Zendaya Cancels Fair Performance, Fifth Harmony to Play

Zendaya, a former Disney star who was scheduled to play at the Stanislaus County Fair on July 16, cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. In her stead, the Fair booked an up-and-coming American “girl group” whose debut album Better Together skyrocketed to #2 on iTunes in October 2013.

“We are elated to announce that we have booked and confirmed Fifth Harmony,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.

Fifth Harmony consists of members Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brook, Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui. The group has been signed by Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid’s record labels, Sysco Music and Epic Records. The aforementioned album, Better Together, also debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.

Fifth Harmony will be performing on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. on July 16. As usual, the concert is free with the price of admission. The concert is hosted by KHOP @ 95.1.

The Stanislaus County Fair opens July 11 for a 10-day run. Discounted admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and Fair season pass are now on sale.
