Everyone is invited to watch the mutts strut their stuff! A doggy PAWstume contest, PAWstume Parade, musical mats, and PUPkin prizes are all part of the 5th Annual Barktoberfest, hosted by Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital.

Barktoberfest will take place on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the R.A.M. Farms Pumpkin Patch, located 716 N. Daubenberger Road.

The activity drawing the most dogs and people at this fun event is the PAWstume contest. So make sure to dress your pup in their best costume, and people should feel free to dress up as well, to compete in the PAWstume contest for PUPkin prizes.

The contest will have several categories being judged that include most creative, scariest, best pup and owner combo, best trick for a treat, best group, and best kid and pup only costume.

The fun doesn’t end there, the pups get to participate in a PAWstume Parade and musical mats.

There will be over $2,000 in prizes given away that include gift baskets, Keurigs, and TVs.

Barktoberfest draws hundreds of people who come see all the cute dogs dressed up, whether they have a dog, bring a dog, or bring a dog dressed up.

Because the event is held at the pumpkin patch in Turlock, there’s plenty to do and fun for the entire family. Everyone is invited to this community event.
