For the past several months Eddie Dixon, owner of Sew Creative Upholstery and U-Haul at 1400 Lander Ave., has had a problem with someone stealing gasoline from U-Haul trucks on his property.

Referring to the thieves as “creatures of the night,” Dixon says they have been stealing five to 30 gallons of gas three to four night a week.

Now, Dixon is reaching out to the community to help identify at least one of the thieves believed to be responsible. This picture of an alleged thief's vehicle was taken Monday night; it is a light blue truck with wide wheels, dark hood and vertical stripes on the sides of bed.
