Expect a bustling atmosphere and increased traffic around California State University, Stanislaus tomorrow as fall classes begin. The campus sprang to life Sunday as hundreds of Freshmen moved into campus housing.

President Joseph Sheley begins his first academic year as permanent head of the university after a year as interim president. Financially the university has stabilized, increasing its budget $3 million and enrollment 2.4 percent.

News of note for students and faculty: Parking Lot 2 remains under construction and will remain closed until the anticipated completion on Sept. 5.
