CSUS Homecoming Week continues on Tuesday with the 2nd Annual College of the Arts Festival on Tuesday at CSU Stanislaus.
The CSUS Warriors Squad hosted their “Paint the Town Red” festival in the Warrior Arena which included an artificial ice rink, games, and activities for families.
Jackie Castilla, ASI Programs Coordinator, said after the event. “We really just wanted to invite the community onto campus and get to connect with the community.”
The event drew about 1,000 people as 600 liability waivers were signed, according to Castilla. The event was also a canned food drive and filled up tubs with a lot of food for Turlock Together.
"Especially for our first year doing this, it was a very successful outcome," said Castilla.
On Tuesday, Homecoming Week continues with the 2nd Annual College of the Arts Festival.
The festival will be held in the Mainstage Theatre from 5pm to 8pm on February 21st. The public is invited to attend and is free. The festival will include visual art, music, slam poetry, and theatrical performances.
