November Events at Turlock Library

The Turlock Library will have an excellent selection of free activities in the month of November.

On Nov. 12 at 6 p.m., World War II veteran James Sanders will recount his incredible experiences as a 19-year-old with the 585th Ambulance Company. If you’re interested in hearing his stories, it is advised you call ahead to reserve a seat by calling 209-664-8100. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Later, on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m., tweens and teens can make colorful Perler Bead creations. When fused together by heat, participants can craft the beads into creations such as keychains and other crafts.

On Nov. 25 at 3:30 p.m., children can make Lego displays for the library. Using the library’s LEGOs, children and their families can engage their imaginations and creativity while building LEGO masterpieces. All ages are welcome to participate, however children under the age of 4 must have direct parental supervision. LEGO programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Turlock Library.
