Snow Coming to Turlock?

It could be a white Christmas in Turlock this year.

The National Weather Service predicts a 70 percent change of rain/snow mixture falling late Friday night, and a 40 percent chance Saturday morning. The NWS notes that rain is likely before 4 a.m. Friday night, possibly transitioning into rain mixed with snow showers. On Saturday, the NWS forecasts a chance of rain and snow showers before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain showers.

AccuWeather.com predicts a 57 percent chance of rain/ snow Friday night into early Saturday, with the best chance for snow between 8 and 9 a.m. Saturday. Saturday’s predicted low temperature is 28 degrees, with a high of 47 degrees.

Bundle up and keep those pipes covered. The NWS has issued a hard freeze warning, which will in effect for much of the San Joaquin Valley from Saturday through next Monday morning.
