Stanislaus County Election Results, TID and TUSD Candidates Elected

Among other election ballot races, voters elected 4 Turlock Unified School District (TUSD) Board of Trustees members and 1 Turlock Irrigation District (TID) Board of Directors member.

As of 11:17pm on November 8, 2011, Stanislaus County Elections Office reported TSUD Trustee voting results to be: Eileen Hamilton (2,816 votes – 22.02% of votes), Frank M. Lima (2,804 votes – 21.93% of votes), Grady L. Welch (2,238 votes – 17.50% of votes), Harinder Grewal (1,963 votes – 15.35% of votes), Andrew Johnson (1,863 votes – 14.57% of votes), Miguel A. Galvez (1,074 votes – 8.40% of votes).
 
Four TUSD Trustee position were up for election so incumbents Eileen Hamilton and Frank Lima will be returning to the TUSD Board and the newcomers to join them will be Grady L. Welch and Harinder Grewal.
 
57 of 57 precincts had been counted by the most current release of results on November 8th.
 
 
 
TID also had a Director position on the ballot and as of 11:17pm on November 8, 2011, Stanislaus County Elections Office reported that a race between two candidates for one Division 1 Director seat has been clearly decided as current TID Board Member Michael Frantz garnished 2,823 votes (73.75% of votes) while his challenger Christopher H. Barth received 983 votes (25.68% of votes).
 
31 of 31 precincts had been counted by the most current release of results on November 8th.
 
 
In regards to this election, Stanislaus County Elections Office reported that there are 227,278 registered voters within the county and that there were only 35,876 ballots cast. This election’s voter turnout was at 15.79 percent.
