Stanislaus State Ranks on U.S. News & World Report Top Universities List

California State University, Stanislaus Warriors and Alum have reason to celebrate as they have found themselves on yet another high ranking list.

U.S. News & World Report first placed Stanislaus State on its list of top public universities in the West region 21 years ago, and it’s now a streak that shows no sign of ending.

Once again, Stanislaus State is featured in the publication’s rankings, which were released this month.

The local university came in at number 14 among public universities in the West region, which is one spot higher than last year.

Stanislaus State is also ranked number 61 regionally among all four-year colleges.

Overall, the 23 members of the California State University system fared well in the rankings, occupying 11 of the top 18 spots on the list of the region’s top public universities.

U.S. News & World Report gathers and weighs data from 16 areas related to academic excellence, then ranks schools according to a composite score.
