Attention coffee lovers: The Starbucks located on Geer Road will be closed from March 24 to April 4 for remodeling.
“The remodel is going to be very nice,” said Starbucks Store Manager Frank Ratajczak. “It’s a really extensive remodel, and the store is going to look dramatically different. We’ll have a new community table, a new café area, new furniture…it’s going to look like a whole new store.”
The extensive remodel will reflect customers’ “ideal Starbucks store,” as customers were asked to share what changes they would like to see, said Ratajczak. The remodel will also bring new equipment for Starbucks partners, which will allow the store to operate more quickly.
“We know this is kind of a big deal for our daily customers, but we’re trying to make it as painless as possible, and the reward will be huge.”
To locate other Starbucks stores within the City of Turlock during this closure, customers are advised to visit www.starbucks.com. Fliers are also being passed out at the Geer Starbucks with information on locations and hours of other Starbuck stores around the area.
Following the remodel, Starbucks will be donating their old furniture and tables to local non-profits and churches to be used by students who need places to study.
“We’re donating the furniture to local non-profits because it is the right thing to do,” said Ratajczak.
The Starbucks located at 3000 Geer Road will close for remodeling at 3 p.m. on March 24, and will reopen on April 4.
