The Turlock Unified School District is continuing to work with the Turlock Police Department to ensure the safety of students, following three assaults on females students Monday and Tuesday.

TUSD announced that as of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday “all students have arrived safely to their respective campus with no further reports of similar incidents.”

TUSD will continue to have a heightened presence and visibility of staff around Pitman High School and Turlock Junior High School, and will continue working closely with the Turlock Police Department until the assailant is in-custody.

California State University, Stanislaus police were seen outside of TJHS when the final bell rang on Wednesday. TJSH staff was also seen outside of the school to ensure student safety.

Three teenage girls, 16, 14 and 13, were assaulted by an assailant on Monday after school and Tuesday before school, respectively. All three girls were able to escape the suspect.

The three attacks took place in the area of Christoffersen Parkway between McKenna Drive and Walnut Road.

Turlock police are still looking for the suspect. He was described by the three girls as a Caucasian male in his mid-20s, standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches, weighing between 150 pounds and 170 pounds, with light brown/reddish hair, and scruffy facial hair.

Police have received several tips from citizens, but none have led to the arrest of the suspect.
