Teens Arrested After Explosive Device Injures Turlock Man

On Sunday, April 11, 2010 at approximately 4:25pm, Turlock police responded to a call of an explosive device exploding and injuring a homeowner at a residence on the 800 block of Cedar Ridge Road.
 
The victim had located a suspicious plastic 2 liter bottle on his porch filled with an unknown liquid. When he began to examine it, it exploded. The victim suffered minor non-life threatening injuries.
 
Officers located several more devices around the property. Stanislaus County Sheriff Department Bomb Disposal Unit responded and neutralized the other devices.
 
Three male juveniles were arrested for “Possession of a Destructive Device in Public Place,” which is a felony. They were taken to Stanislaus County Juvenile Detention Center.
