Three Arrested for Attempted Homicide at the 300 Block of De Pauw Drive

On August 14, 2011, at approximately 10:16pm, the Turlock Police Department received a call advising a male had been shot at the 300 Block of De Pauw Drive in Turlock. Officers arrived on scene and located a 20 year old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.


The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
 
Information was developed which resulted in the arrest of Dakota Rodgers, a 20 year old male from Turlock, and Kailee Stewart, a 24 year old female from Turlock. They were charged with Attempted Homicide and Conspiracy and taken to Stanislaus County Jail.
 
On August 15th, at approximately 10:10am, the Turlock Police Department Detectives located and arrested Xavier Castillo, a 19 yr old male from Denair, for attempted homicide and conspiracy regarding the shooting.
 
Police had been searching for Castillo. Castillo was arrested at the Walgreens shopping center after being stopped in a vehicle by police. Castillo’s arrest concluded the search for outstanding persons.
 
The cause of the incident is still under investigation. At this time investigators are aware that all three individuals knew each other and the incident resulted from some type of disagreement regarding past relationships.
