On April 4th, the Turlock City Council was scheduled to once again take up reviewing and updating the Strategic Plan for 2011-13 while discussing Intelligent-Planned-Managed Growth, Social Infrastructure, Community Programs & Facilities and Infrastructure while also discussing the implementation of the plans for all areas.

The April 4th Turlock City Council Special Meeting was canceled Monday morning due to notification that there would be a lack of quorum.

The canceled special meeting was to be the continuance of a March 14, 2011, special meeting where the Turlock City Council started to review and discuss a draft document of the Turlock Strategic Plan 2011-13 that included the beginning sections: Vision for Turlock, The Vision Statement, Purpose of the Strategic Plan, Goals/Action, Executive Summary, Effective Leadership, Fiscal Responsibility, Public Safety, Municipal Infrastructure, and Economic Development.
