Turlock Police and Fire Open House

The City of Turlock Police and Fire Departments will host their Seventh Annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26, in celebration of the new Turlock Public Safety Facility at 244 N. Broadway.

Admission is free for all, and attendees will be treated to tours of the new facility, BBQ and refreshments, equipment displays and demonstrations and children’s activities. SWAT will be holding tactical demonstrations and officers will be properly fitting helmets for kids. The fire department will demonstrate an automobile extraction and a technical rescue.

“We are very excited about this year's open house because it's taking place at our new Public Safety Facility. This is our way of opening up our building and operations to our community. The police and fire departments work very closely together on many different issues, and we are pleased host this event together,” said Police Chief Robert Jackson. “We look forward to seeing a large crowd attending our event.”
