Salvation Army Fundraising Down $20,000 this Holiday Season

|

Despite robust donations this holiday season thanks to the Kettle Kick-Off and the Kettle Dash, The Salvation Army Turlock Corps is still $20,000 short of its holiday fundraising goal, and $15,000 short of last year's donations.

Salvation Army asks for continued donations until Christmas Eve at kettles located in front of grocery stores. Bell ringers have already begun ringing their bells in support of underprivileged people in the community.

This year’s Kettle Kick-Off raised $30,000, plus an anonymous donation of $50,000. Kettle Dash team “We Can Build It,” led by local developer and Salvation Army board member Jerry Powell pulled in the most donations.
